The weather was beautiful on Thursday and I had planned to take a half day so we could make the relatively longer hop down to Cincinnati. Katherine's family is from the Cincinnati area, and we had planned to meet up with Katherine's friend Carly and do private room karaoke at the very excellent Tokyo Kitty bar in downtown Cincy. We reserved our karaoke room for 8:30pm (it gets very busy!) and I got us ready for departure.
We made another VFR flight to Cincinnati, and landed just before sunset. We got an Uber and headed to our hotel in downtown. We dropped our stuff and tucked Magic away in her travel crate, and we walked over to Tokyo Kitty to meet Carly at karaoke. We had our private room booked for 2 hours, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Tokyo Kitty is a very cool karaoke bar, and normally they have a robot that serves drinks to the rooms, but unfortunately on this visit the robot was out of service.
The next day I worked my final day of the trip, and then we walked to Fountain Square and down to the river to enjoy the beautiful, sunny fall weather. For lunch we made the obligatory visit to Skyline, which never disappoints, and then we met Katherine's dad for dinner at a local Thai restaurant.
